Northernmost land - The northernmost land is Oodaq φ, which is 4,434 ft north of Kaffeklubben φ off Pearyland, Kalaallit Nunaat (formerly Greenland) in Lat. 83°40'32.5"N, Long. 30°40'10.1"W. It was first observed on 26 Jul 1978 by Uffe Petersen of the Danish Geodetic Institute. It is 438.9 miles from the North Pole. (Photo: Geodetic Institute, Denmark)
